The Office of the Provost oversees Â鶹ÊÓƵ State University’s academic programs, schools, colleges and the University library. Designated a Research Doctoral (R2) University by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, the University’s 11 colleges and schools serve more than 21,000 undergraduate and graduate students with more than 300 doctoral, master’s and baccalaureate level programs.
In addition, the Office of the Provost promotes and supports faculty excellence by devising effective academic policies, developing a meaningful curriculum, and adopting high standards for faculty hiring, reappointment, tenure and professional development.
